David, Charlie and I all needed to replace our Eye Glasses. We went back to America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses in Lake Worth although, the last time we went we went to the one in Hurst, Texas.
I chose America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses because you can get two pairs of Eye Glasses and your Eye Exam for only $69 dollars. There is more expensive glasses and even cheaper pairs but we all knew we wanted the special.
I scheduled our Eye Appointments and was able to get us all seen within a hour of each other. I filled out everyone’s paperwork and Charlie went in first.
I liked being able to be in the room with him. I had David go next that way David and Charlie could pick out there glasses and I wouldn’t have to worry about Charlie being out front by himself.
On my turn I liked how competent the doctor was and how he took the time to explain things to me including I am getting Cataracts and may need Surgery in the future.
Once the doctor and I finished my Exam I went back out front to pick out my Eye Glasses. I was asked if I wanted Bifocals which would have cost more.
I wasn’t sure how well they would work and if they would bother me. I decided to get two pairs one for distance and one for reading and using the computer.
In the future I wanted to come back and get Sunglasses for myself and Safety Glasses for David. As well as Sunglasses for David and Charlie along with a extra pair of glasses for Charlie.
We were told our glasses would be in in 7 to 10 days. They took longer and when we went back in only one pair of Charlie’s had arrived. We were told the glasses could take 21 days which we hadn’t been made aware of.
It’s been almost a month and America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses hasn’t called to tell us if Charlie’s second pair is done or not. I plan on calling America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses this morning. With all of this miscommunication I don’t think we will come back to America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses in the future.
Even though we liked the doctor and the style of glasses I don’t like not being kept informed when we have paid for the glasses and they know Charlie has to wear his at all times.
I called America’s Best Contacts & Eye Glasses and was asked to hold. They only asked for Charlie’s name. After waiting they came onto the phone and asked for our phone number.
I gave it to the gentleman on the phone and he said oh, its with a C… If only you had asked I would have told you that. He says did you pick up a pair of glasses. I said yes, we did.
The gentleman says the second pair is here. I asked how long it had been and he said I don’t know. I’m not at the computer but could go look. I then asked why no, one had called us.
He says we use a Automatic system and when one pair comes in and your waiting on the second pair I don’t know why they wouldn’t call you how that works.
I asked a couple more questions and just felt like he was making excuses and we wasn’t getting anywhere. I plan on going in Monday when I pick up the glasses to talk to the manage because this was unacceptable.
We all needed Eye Glass cases and none of us could find cases we liked her. When I was on Walmart’s Charlie found this case that matched his Vans and we picked it up for him.
I also found a White Glass Case with a Unicorn on it I would like to purchase for myself. Or a glass case with Flowers on it. But to save money I purchase my Glass Case and Glass Cleaner from the Dollar Tree in Fort Worth, Texas.
