Alice The Cat by Tim Cummings
Alice The Cat by Tim Cummings

I received a copy of Alice The Cat by Tim Cummings in exchange for this review.

Alice The Cat could be described as a Middle School fiction book although I read the book may not be one, I share with Charlie for many reasons. Including Cancer which would bring up my mom’s death which Charlie and I still struggle with. As well as the death of a parent which both Charlie and I had happened in the past year. I wouldn’t want to remind Charlie of Lucy and Sandi. So as you see not one pet in our case but two of our pets passed away within a couple weeks of each other.

Then the book touches on mental health which takes many forms in our family including in Charlies brothers’ life Travis who is Bi-Polar and myself who suffers from depression even though I haven’t been officially diagnosed. Before you ask me if I read the book I did and I enjoyed the storyline and after reading the book and how the Author handled everything,.

I wouldn’t mind adding Alice The Cat to our must read list of books this year in our Homeschool Reading Class and I hope you take the time to check out this new book as well. Just be prepared you may want to keep a Kleenex or two on hand. Also, have your furbabies close at hand to cuddle as you read the book for comfort and to remind you there still here and healthy.
