Everyone in our family knows Charlie is wanting to make Wrestling clothes for his wrestling figures and he has asked me to help him out. Now I did make clothes for Suzzane’s Barbies when she was younger. It looks like I will be venturing into creating a line of clothes for Wrestlers. Before you ask me if I know what I am doing I will tell you I don’t but if Charlie is willing to try then I am as well.
I have been thinking about looking for someone who sew’s in Dallas/ Fort Worth and seeing if they could make the clothes for Charlie for Christmas. But that isn’t the same as us sitting down and learning together. Which will allow us to create new memories and once we learn to make the clothes he could start his own business and earn his own spending money.
The other day Charlie’s grandmother went to a Children’s Resale store in Dallas/ Fort Worth called Kid to Kid. While there she found Alex Ultimate Bead & Weave Bracelet Party and called me to ask if it was something Charlie would be able to use. I asked her to send me a picture of Alex Ultimate Bead & Weave Bracelet Party. Once the picture arrived I knew we could use the contents to dress up the clothes and the Embroidery floss would be great for creating Jewelry for the girl wrestlers.
Since Sherry dropped Alex Ultimate Bead & Weave Bracelet Party Charlie has also decided he will use the contents to make bracelets for his Aunt and his sister as well as my nieces for Christmas. As you can see not only are we in the Wrestling Clothes Business but the Jewelry Designing business and if Charlie gets good enough at making Jewelry we can set up at local Craft Fairs with his sister Leslie and they can sell the items they make. Allowing both Leslie and Charlie to have there own spending money.
Inside Alex Ultimate Bead & Weave Bracelet Party are the following items which Leslie says she can use just as much as Charlie can.
30 Colors of Embroidery Floss and at one time I used to Embroidery which I haven’t done in a while but I might buy some items to Embroidery and see if Charlie and Leslie would make them with me. Allowing us to spend time together learning a new craft which also could be turned into a business.
2 Square Looms and 2 Round Looms and as a child I used to use Looms to make Hot Pads for members of our family and I can look for the Hot Pad Craft Kit for Leslie and Charlie for Christmas as they could make Hot Pads and sell them as well.
Elastic String and no, Leslie and David you can not use the string to go fishing with although I know you both would. Charlie you can’t use it to make a Collar for the dogs out of either. The Elastic String is for the bracelets and only the bracelets.
Beading Needle and I didn’t know there was a special needle for Beading but I will put it up so it is only used to make the bracelets with. Because I would hate finding this needle on the floor and steeping on it and it sticking in my foot. Or for David to use the beading needle to get splinters out of Charlie’s and my foot or hand.
Beads and all I can say is oh me oh my there are a lot of beads. Please keep them up off the floor so the dogs don’t eat the beads and I don’t end up stepping on the beads. Or David finding the beads everywhere and he throws them away. Which has happened in the past.
Instruction Booklet which I will be using when we begin to make the bracelets because unlike men I like having instructions to follow. Although Charlie is like his father and might not want to use the instruction booklet.
If you look for me I am heading to Walmart and Dollar Tree to get some containers to put all of these items into. I wish I had my grandmothers sewing kit as it would have been the perfect place to keep all of the Craft Items we are accumulating including the material Charlie will be using.
