Alex Morgan Alex & Me

About a month ago I was accepted to work with Warner Brothers to conduct reviews for them, and I knew there was a reason the Lord had brought them into my life. Although I didn’t know why until I received a message about a new movie called Alex and Me about Alex Morgana professional Soccer player. Now, I would like to let you know my family hadn’t heard about this new movie before the Press Release arrived or I would have placed it on my Wish List.

All I knew was it was about a girl who enjoyed playing Soccer. I didn’t realize it was a true story until I watched the film. I sat down at my computer and turned the movie on David heard it playing and came to watch it with me. I invited Charlie to as well although at first, he said no, it’s about a girl, and I am not interested.

As David and I continued to watch the film, I kept seeing Charlie edge closer and closer to the computer to see what was happening. About 10 minutes into the movie Charlie sat down next to us and began to watch the film.

Once it was over David, let me know he was ready to sign up for Soccer again which he hadn’t wanted to play since the kids in school bullied him. Charlie didn’t want to be around other kids as they might do the same thing to him. Then Charlie asked me to take him to the Library so he could look for some books and DVD’s about Alex and the rules for Soccer so he would be ready for practice once we sign him up.

David saw how much the movie changed things for Charlie that even he said he thinks we should purchase the film once it comes out and if she ever comes to Fort Worth that we should watch her play. Then David asked me if we could use this new movie in our Homeschool classroom and I let him know we could and would.
