This is a review for a Infant/ Toddler children’s book Active ABC: Beginning Baby. I received a copy of ABC: Beginning Baby in exchange for this review from my family.
My niece Daisy will be turning 3 this year and her mom Alex is planning on teaching Daisy her ABS. By using our copy of ABC: Beginning Baby Charlie and I will be able to help Alex teach Daisy and also reinforce the ABC’s to her big sister Payton.
I like how when we open the book that the letters are inset and you can tough how they feel which will help children learn the letters faster. As well as help kids learn how to write the letters out.
Having only one word on each page will keep the kids from becoming overwhelmed when working on there ABC. Charlie said the drawings are cute and the colors pop.
The drawings do not take away from the story but enhances what we will be teaching my niece. Charlie and Payton re-drew the animals in the story and built another story of there own using the animals and words in this book.
Charlie even let me know he could use the illustrations in our Homeschool Art Class and create pieces of art based on each character. Then I let Charlie know we could count the characters for our Math Class and create math problems for Charlie and I to work out.
As you can see ABC: Beginning Baby can not only be a story for fun but a learning element as well for children and adults of all ages. Including learning colors and shapes.
