How are you? My family is fine were trying to get our house clean and organized. Charlie’s best friends home was sold and they have to move. They haven’t found anywhere yet and could use Prayers. Because if they can’t find a home they will come here to stay with us.
This morning for the A to Z Challenge Letter K Key Lime Pie is the dessert I have chose to share with you. I honestly don’t know anyone who eats Key Lime Pie.
With Charlie branching out and trying new foods I thought I might make Key Lime Pie for dessert and Charlie and David could try the Pie. As for me I will not because I don’t care for Limes.
- 1 (9 inch) prepared Graham Cracker Crust
- 3 cups sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lime zest
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a medium bowl, combine condensed milk, sour cream, lime juice, and lime rind. Mix well and pour into graham cracker crust.
Bake in preheated oven for 5 to 8 minutes, until tiny pinhole bubbles burst on the surface of pie. DO NOT BROWN! Chill pie thoroughly before serving. Garnish with lime slices and whipped cream if desired.
