Not, having a stove makes baking Cookies with Charlie hard to do. Although now, I have a new recipe I can share with Charlie and David thanks to the A to Z Challenge Letter H No Bake Haystacks.
I can’t wait until David gets home from work so I can run to the grocery store to get the ingredients to create these cookies for Charlie and his friends.
I haven’t ever had No Bake Haystacks is will be fun to try these cookies with my family. Because I’m sure Charlie hasn’t had them either and I am not sure if David has or not.
No Bake Haystacks
- 11 ounces Butterscotch Chips
- 10 ounces Peanut Butter Chips
- 11 ounces White Chocolate Chips
- 12 ounces Spanish Peanuts, The red-skinned peanuts
- 12 ounces Chow Mein Noodles
Directions
- Line counter with parchment paper or wax paper.
- In a large saucepan, combine butterscotch morsels, peanut butter morsels, and white chocolate morsels. Heat on low, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and fold in peanuts and chow mien noodles. Stir until combined. Using a small cookie scoop (or two teaspoons), drop mixture onto parchment paper in small clumps.
- Allow to set, about 15-30 minutes. Store in airtight container. I prefer to keep mine in the refrigerator. Try eating the Haystacks chilled. Which will bring out the butterscotch flavor
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
