The Ber months are here; Christmas is just around the corner. People are now starting to hang their lanterns and display their reindeer-themed pillowcases. Some moms might be panic-buying hams and cheese by now. The most fun time of the year is finally here again. But as Christmas is fast approaching, the virus is still alive and kicking. Some might be curious, will this year’s Christmas be cancelled?
We’re glad to say that we don’t have to cancel Christmas! What we should do instead is to start innovating ways to keep the Christmas spirit alive even if we have to practice various health and safety protocols. It might be hard for some, but keep in mind that performing such will be for the betterment not just of thyselves, but for the sake of everyone.
One way to keep the fun is to apply your newly gained knowledge in cooking. Make use of that Youtube-powered skills in the kitchen when preparing for the Christmas Eve dinner. This is one effective way of becoming productive during the holiday season.
It would be great to host a party too! But you’re worried that maintaining social distancing might be violated, right? Worry no more because we have Zoom and other video conferencing apps that we can use! Set your virtual rooms and meet with your loved ones virtually. Have fun virtually. Enjoy Christmas virtually.
Get rid of the stress! This pandemic has already given us enough reason to be drained, exhausted, and stressed out, but you can use Christmas as your own escape to this negative vibes. Take it easy on your preparations and plans; there is no pressure this time. Except for the fact that you are not obliged to invite people over your home, you could just relax and instead, make sure to impress yourself and your family only.
Another great strategy for the outgoing people out there, practice the idea of “Mini-Masses.” do this by inviting people over by schedule. Maybe invite this circle of acquaintances by Monday, the other on Tuesday, and so on. But this idea might cause you more money spent in preparing food for the visitors. This is less suggested, but is still a possible great way to celebrate the holiday.
There are still a lot of ideas that you could apply for a safer celebration; don’t hesitate to do that as long as you make sure that by having fun, you won’t be able to sacrifice the safety of your family. Keep in mind that having fun doesn’t always mean physically interacting with loved ones. Be creative, be innovative. Have a blast during this yuletide season and keep safe from the virus.
Thank you,
