I attended A Little Night Music at Theater Frisco this weekend with the Girls for a Girls Night Out. While David stayed with Charlie for a Guy’s Night because A Little Night Music had Adult Content in the play.
We arrived at the Theater Frisco and picked up our tickets at Will Call. Purchased snacks from the concession stand. Grabbed a blanket and went inside to find out seats.
The usher showed us to our seats and we was on the side and had a perfect view. I loved looking at the Props they used including a Old Timey Couch. The host came out and reminded us to read over our programs.
A Little Night Music began and I was memorized and didn’t want the play to stop for the intermission. I loved the costumes and the Actors singing. The story line was full of suspense, romance and surprises of all kinds.
A Little Night Music is a must see play for Date Night, Girls Night Our or even a Romantic Liaison. If you haven’t seen this play I hope you take the time to soon.
A Little Night Music | Showing July 26 – August 11
Winner of four Tony Awards, this is a musical work that has forever entranced the world of theatre. Set in 1900 Sweden, A Little Night Music explores the tangled web of affairs centered around actress, Desirée Armfeldt, and the men who love her: a lawyer by the name of Fredrik Egerman and the Count Carl-Magnus Malcom.
When the traveling actress performs in Fredrik’s town, the estranged lovers’ passion rekindles. This strikes a flurry of jealousy and suspicion between Desirée; Fredrik; Fredrick’s wife, Anne; Desirée’s current lover, the Count; and the Count’s wife, Charlotte. This classic musical features the beloved song, “Send in the Clowns”.
