The Mommies Reviews

Christmas is right around the corner followed by a New Year and not only Charlie but my niece Lily and my nephew Jason need more books to read every day. Which is why I am excited to introduce you to a new Author I meet on Alignable A.J. Kormon Author Illustrator.

I would like to invite you to check out her website and her book The Ninja Granny which Charlie and I will be reading Monday in our Homeschool Reading Class. Reading is always more fun with a friend would you like to join us?

I’ve been watching Mysteries on TV which Charlie will watch with me at times. As well as playing Clue. As a child I used to enjoy reading Mystery books which its been a while since I’ve read a mystery of any kind. What about you?

I can’t wait to show Charlie Halloway Hills Middle School Mysteries and see what Charlie thinks of these books as he is in Middle School. I also want to get Charlie’s thoughts before I share these books with Lily and Jason because there in Elementary and I don[‘t know if they would be to hard for them to read or if they would have trouble understanding the storyline.

In Homeschool in our Home Economics Class I would like to have Charlie read Scruffy Muffin Loses His Money because Charlie doesn’t always watch what he does with his money or what he spends it on. Are your children the same way? Not only that I can be the same way at times and we’ve got to buckle down with the Holidays and a New Year upon us and start saving money not spending it or we will never get out of debt. Which stinks.

Scruffy Muffin Loses His Money

But when Scruffy leaves his birthday money unattended to buy his friends ice cream treats, the friends return to find the money is gone! Includes special pages for parents and teachers with ideas for having conversations with kids about money!
