Charlie is Homeschooling again this year and he will be taking a cooking class. To get Charlie more involved in reading while were cooking I will have Charlie read a page or two from A Chef’s Book of Favorite Culinary Quotations: An Inspired Collection for Those Who Love to Cook and Those Who Love to Eat each day.
Having Charlie read out loud will build his confidence of speaking in public. Show me how his reading is improving and were Charlie needs help. As well as showing me which words we should use in Spelling each week.
Not only that this may get David more involved in reading and help him improve his reading skills. Charlie and I will be able to research the Authors and learn more about them.
There is quotes Charlie wants to cut out and hang in our kitchen to keep us motivated and help us build both a love of cooking and reading. If you haven’t had a chance to read A Chef’s Book of Favorite Culinary Quotations: An Inspired Collection for Those Who Love to Cook and Those Who Love to Eat.

But even though Julia Child and Irma Rombauer and other visionaries inspired us to think of cooking as a joy, most of us still need to be reminded that cooking and eating can be fun and inspirational as well as essential!
A Chef’s Book of Favorite Culinary Quotations highlights words of wisdom from a wide variety of people, including those in the food world and beyond. This scrumptious collection is a perfect gift for the food lover in all of us.
