I loved being able to attend Black Box Theater last year when we went and saw You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown. For my family that was one of our most memorable moments from Christmas this year and I can’t wait to go back and see what other plays Black Box Theater will be showing. have shown.
As I was online, I decided to take a look and see what was playing and I am so glad I did as they have a new play called Nifty-Fifties that I just know Charlie would love. The new play contains all of his favorite items music and fast cars. I also think David would enjoy this new play as well as it takes place in the 50’s.
I hope to be able to surprise both guys with tickets in the next week so we can just get away for a little while and shut out the world because Charlie, David and I are stressed that just watching a play will help us create the perfect family time.
Once we are home Charlie will be able to write the play up for Homeschool Creative Writing or to draw pictures of what he saw. Write a report on what he thought of the play. Watching a play may lead to a new career for Charlie as he may grow up to be a newspaper reporter. Which I think would be neat.
Frisco Area Children’s Theater is taking you back to the Nifty Fifties – fast cars, drive-ins, poodle skirts and soda shops, a time when rock & roll was here to stay.
Gracie is in charge of planning the Hippity Hop, but where to have it? Who will sing? And will the mean Mrs. Nicholsen spoil their plans? Will Sinbad find out who wrecked his Harley? Find out with us!
