Gifts for gal pals range from silly to sweet, from inexpensive to extravagant. One gift that clearly commemorates the connection between BFF’s is permanent jewelry. As one of the first jewelers to offer the style trend in Connecticut, Baribault Jewelers in Glastonbury is hosting a Valentine’s Permanent Jewelry Bar Event with free gifts, giveaways and a sweetheart sale.

The long-time friends wanted the bracelets as a visual and beautiful reminder of their special, caring bond. |
“The popularity of permanent jewelry has grown quickly and shows no signs of slowing down,” explains Christina Baribault Ortiz of Baribault Jewelers and co-founder of The Power to B jewelry collection. “Bridal parties, sisters, mothers and daughters and best friends have become bonded by this beautiful keepsake piece of jewelry.”
Embraced by Hollywood celebs, the stylish trend was recently featured on the popular Netflix series “Love is Blind” when Nancy and Bartise got matching permanent bracelets to prove to the world that they were fully committed to each other and their future.
Typically a 14k gold bracelet, Baribault Ortiz explains the process for procuring permanent jewelry that ranges in price from $20-45 per inch::
1. Choose a time slot – Appointments are limited, so book in advance online. Get a free gift for your Valentine or that special someone with a permanent jewelry purchase from February 9 -15, 2023.
2. Choose your chain -Select one of four light & dainty14k gold chains that are also waterproof. Want more than one bracelet? Mix and match styles.
3. B Linked – The chain will then be measured to your wrist and painlessly welded shut using high heat.
Baribault Ortiz notes that while the welding process only takes a second, fitting the bracelets can take time, so expect approximately a 30-minute wait when getting permanent jewelry. Anklets and necklaces are available, but are much more likely to get snagged, stretch, or break. The minimum welding age is 10.
The family-owned store is spreading even more love by giving away a set of 14k gold Permanent Bracelets during its B Linked in Love event starting now. To enter, simply follow @BaribaultJewelers on Instagram and tag your Valentine in the comments. The winner will be chosen on February 8, 2023.
For those seeking sparkling gifts beyond permanent bracelets, Baribault’s annual Sweetheart Sale offers savings of $50 off a purchase of $250 or more and $100 off a purchase of $500 or more from February 10 – 14, 2023. The store’s Trusted Advisors are available to help select the perfect gift.
“Jewelry is the ultimate reflection of your love and admiration,” says Baribault Ortiz. “It’s a clear reminder of your unwavering devotion every time they look at it.”
