Browsing online yesterday I went to the stations we watch, and I found 5000 Blankets a movie I had been wanting to watch for a while. I thought the movie might have reminded me of Suzzane’s passing making this movie hard to watch. I was home by myself because David was working, and Charlie was at a friend’s. But I knew neither of them would want to watch 5000 Blankets even though 5000 Blankets Inspired By An Incredible True Story was filmed in Fort Worth.
To begin with I watched the trailer to make sure it was a movie I would want to watch. After the trailer finished I knew 10000 Blankets was a movie I had to see. I could see both Charlie and Suzzane doing what this young man did to help the Homeless. As well as David and even myself if we could do this we would have.
Living on the outskirts of Fort Worth there is Homeless people everywhere we look. In #Homeschool we have the opportunity to volunteer to help others out. I might not be able to get 5,000 blankets but even if we only collect one blanket and help one person that is better than not helping at all isn’t it?
Would you join us at the movies on December 12th or 13th at North East Mall and before you say I don’t live in Fort Worth. That is okay just purchase tickets in your town to watch 10000 Blankets. Then send me blankets or Gift Cards to purchase blankets in our town. Or start your own Blanket Drive in your town and help your homeless stay warm. Because no, matter where you are there is homeless people all over the world and its not just adults but kids and pets as well.
