Children’s Books about being Grateful

Children's Book Reviews

Welcome to Thanksgiving week. In our Homeschool were taking a break this week but I still want to make sure Charlie learns something new each day. With my niece Lily and Jason out of school this week I’ve picked out Children’s Books about being Grateful for Charlie to read to them everyday this week.

The Gifts You Cannot Buy: an empowering children’s book about values and gratitude

Are there gifts you can’t buy? What is their value? The Gifts You Cannot Buy is a children’s book written in poetry form that explores those questions. Some gifts are so powerful, they are priceless. This beautiful and inspiring book helps readers of all ages reflect on some of the most important things in life: people, friendship, time, nature, faith, love and hope. It will bring families together as they discuss the themes and topics of the book and view the simple yet enchanting illustrations.

What are some of the gifts you’ve received in your life that are priceless? What do they mean to you? How have they changed your life? Open up conversation with your loved ones, steer them toward the more important things in life and encourage your little ones to appreciate what they have.

* Bonus Content: At the end of the book you will find the sections “Let’s think about it” and “An activity for you” with questions that stimulate reflection and discussion on the theme of the story and an activity that will help the entire family to create lasting memories while exercising values and gratitude.

Gratitude is My Superpower: A children’s book about Giving Thanks and Practicing Positivity (My Superpower Books)

“Gratitude’s in all of us and all we have to do,
is stop and think how thankful we are, instead of feeling blue!”

Teach Your Dragon Gratitude: A Story About Being Grateful (My Dragon Books)

A Cute Children’s Book To Foster the Attitude of Gratitude, Appreciation, and Thankfulness (My Dragon Books – Volume 56)

Having a pet dragon is fun! You can train him to do many things…
You can train him to sit, rollover, and play…
You can teach him to candle a birthday cake, lit a campfire, or other cool things…

But what if your dragon doesn’t appreciate what he has?
What if he’s not grateful for what you and others do for him?
What if he takes things for granted?
What if he keeps complaining about what he doesn’t have instead of being grateful for what he has?
What if he believes everything is about him and he is entitled to everything?
What should you do?

You teach him gratitude!
You train him to be happy for what he has.
You teach him to be grateful for what others do for him.
You show him how to be happy for what others have instead of complaining and wanting what belongs to others.
You teach him the Attitude of Gratitude, and being thankful for the things he has, the clothes he wears, the house he lives in, the love of his family, and much more…
How do you do that?
