Receiving Reasons Why I Love You Fill-in-the-Blank Gift Book. Gifts for Grandpa was hard for me because David always called my dad Grandpa and David’s dad is Papa. With my dad not being here to give the book to Charlie plans on filling this out for his papa for Christmas.
I looked through the book I had fun asking Charlie questions about my dad and seeing what he remembered as I shared stories from my childhood and my dad with Charlie. Then we went over the same questions about my mom.
Without Charlie knowing it I jotted the questions down in a journal to give Charlie at Christmas when Charlie gives the other books to his grandparents and to his dad. From this book I also had Charlie take a picture of him and his grandpa just like we did in the book for Grandma which you can see here.
