Welcome to a little piece of Heave thanks to my Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax (RP Minis) from Hachette Book group and Running Press who sent me this set-in exchange for a review.
Once again since moving into this apartment I’ve been reminded to never take what we have for granted. In our home we had money left over at the end of the month and could take a trip. Here our rent is triple what we were paying so were struggling each month to make ends meet. This means David is working more hours and somedays he is gone more than he is home.
Charlie and I are stuck inside our Townhome which I am grateful for, but I miss my yard. The Swimming Pool hasn’t been opened at all this year leaving Charlie and I with nothing to do. I do have a front and back porch with a Balcony I’ m so glad to have which allows me to have a small garden but there isn’t much to do with it.
Which is why on the days I’m bored that I can get out Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax and create a perfect day at the Beach. Or Charlie can use this in his Homeschool Creative Writing Class for the stories I ask Charlie to write once a week. We also use this to decorate a Beach wall in our home to dress up our apartment.
The other day my niece Lily came over and saw Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax on my desk. Lily asked if she could open Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax up. I let Lily who had so much fun looking at everything. Lily let me know she could use Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax with her Barbies. Lily’s Birthday is at the end of the month and now I know what David, Charlie and I can get her for her Birthday.
Inside the box you will find a cute little book that includes seeking a Zen moment. As well as the information that a beach day keeps the doctors away which I always thought was a Apple. How about you? Interacting with your Zen Garden. Meditation at the Beach which I need more than ever. How about you?
How about mindlessness at the Beach? How about I’d rather be at the Beach or would I? which can be turned into a trivia game with friends and family. Before you thumb through the book look at scene and the Pink Flamingo pool Float which I wish I had for Suzzane because this was the first stuffed animal I bought her at the Zoo when she was only 2. I sure miss her.
I was amazed that inside the box was a blue square that is the lake and they included mock sand for us to put on it which comes in a Ziploc bag so we can put the sand up when not using it. A beach towel in green with I would like to say Palm Leaves on it. A yellow stripped umbrella and stand that I wish was big enough to use on my porch.
A rake we can use to sweep the sand up with and keep the ground clean at all times. A pineapple which could be a tumbler or a piece of fruit we could eat on a hot day or turn into a fun drink. A Starfish but no, Jellyfish or Swimming Float although they did include a pair of pink flip flops which I know Suzzane would have wanted because this is the only kinds of shoes, she would ware year-round.
Now, I need to get David to hang up a knick-knack shelf for me to sit my Zen Garden Beach Day: A Little Time to Relax out to look at when I am working. This set has small pieces so it isn’t for small children and should be kept away from dogs. Which can be hard in my home. Charlie said the colors are perfect for boys and girls.
