| Our grandmother, Lady Lucy, not only created beautiful clothing, but served as the matriarch to a long line of powerful women, teaching them sewing, design, and entrepreneurship. We soaked up her love of fashion, family, and a distinct dream to celebrate the culture that molded us. It only took a few years for us to start to dream of creating our own clothing line, one that honored our roots and reflected the love we have for one another, our grandmother, and our African culture. We sketched designs in between classes and started to collect ideas and inspirations from the world around us. We dreamed that one day, we would create a worldwide brand.
