Welcome to our series featuring Food Holiday: October 2022: National Vegetarian Month. I don’t know about you but I could be a Vegetarian and so could my mother. As for David and Charlie they wouldn’t survive without Meat. How about you?

  2. Cooking classes are a fun way to learn new skills in the kitchen. To celebrate Vegetarian Month, why not learn how to make dishes without using Meat?
  3. The month of October can get pretty chilly, so consider taking your green thumb indoors. An indoor garden helps ensure that you’ll have fresh Herbs and Veggies to use throughout the Winter.

  1. Research indicates that abstaining from red meat may enhance the sex appeal of male pheromones.
  2. You may have studied Pythagoras Pythagorean Theorem, but did you know that Greek philosopher Pythagoras was a devout Vegetarian?
  3. Plants provide 10 times more protein per acre than Meat.
  4. Benjamin Franklin was a Wegetarian, although he went back to eating Meat later in life.
