The Mommies Reviews

This week in our Homeschool Music Class Charlie and I will be listening and comparing Wade Sapp to Waylon Jennings, Bobby Bare, Willie Nelson allowing me to see which songs and singers know may or may not know. Out of these singers which one do you think Charlie should most study and why. Or is there another singer you think Charlie should study and why?

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 25, 2022) – Wade Sapp releases his highly anticipated debut single,  “Keep On Truckin'” written solely by Wade, this song has influence from the outlaw era of Country Music, made famous by the great Waylon Jennings, Bobby Bare, Willie Nelson and more. Originally from Fla., Wade Sapp has crafted his own sound. With Southern Rock, Red Dirt and Classic Country influences accompanied by his witty songwriting, his music appeals to a wide audience. This is just the first release of many from Wade this year, but this faster tempo song will kickstart the warmer season. While fans have been able to catch the single spinning on SiriusXM Oulaw Country, you can now stream “Keep On Truckin'” here!

“My mom’s second husband was a wiry truck driver from Ft. Pierce, Fla. I used to sit on his lap and steer the truck at the ripe age of five years old while listening to Jerry Reed’s ‘East Bound & Down’ and other trucker songs. I wanted to pay homage to that great era of Country Music and trucking culture with this song,” says Sapp.

Wade has been honing his craft deep in the Nashville Country scene for years. With a vast touring history alongside artists like Colter Wall and Elizabeth Cook, a slot on the Outlaw Country Cruise, future tour dates on the books, spins on SiriusXM Outlaw Country and his own OurVinyl Session, this is just the beginning for the singer and songwriter. About Wade Sapp
Wade Sapp is making authentic country music for a new generation. While steeped in tradition, Sapp blends influences from Rock, Folk and Soul into his songwriting. At the age of 8, moving from the small South Florida town of Okeechobee to suburban Marietta, GA was a big change. But it was then Wade was exposed to more styles of music and eventually taught himself how to play guitar. As Wade got older, he started a band and began playing Bars and Clubs around Atlanta, eventually expanding to the Southeast. After 7 years of paying his dues in the region, Wade decided it was time to take the next step in his career and make the move to Nashville. Since relocating in 2016, Wade has established himself as one of Country Music’s most exciting promising stars. Over the past few years, he has played all over the U.S. opening for Colter Wall as well as perfecting his show on headliner dates. Now at long last, Wade is gearing up to release his debut album Radio Check in 2022!
