This is a review for You’re A Helper!: Beginning Baby children’s book I received in exchange for this review.
During our Homeschool Reading and Art Class this morning I asked Charlie to read You’re A Helper!: Beginning Baby which is full of Animals we can study when we begin our studies on Animals. As well as reminding Charlie anyone can and should be a helper both inside and outside the home.
We’ve just planted our Garden and showing Charlie the Animals watering the plants inspired Charlie to get up and water our plants allowing Charlie to get Exercise for our PE Class. Charlie let me know he would like a Watering Can which will take us on a Field Trip to a plant store.
To keep Charlie’s attention when reading You’re A Helper!: Beginning Baby I put together a Scavenger Hunt and hide his Purple Crayon and just like the Llama Charlie had to find the missing crayon. Allowing Charlie to use his imagination.
When we finished reading, You’re A Helper!: Beginning Baby I reminded Charlie how Monkey put all of his toys away. Then I asked Charlie if he had stuff that needed put away and before I knew what was happening both David and Charlie were picking up the living room and kitchen. Thank the LORD.
Charlie loved learning anyone can be a helped it they put their minds to it. As I discussed the book and who it should be for both Charlie said children and adults would enjoy the story and should read the book with their families and the book should be in all classrooms.
