Sunrise Dance

The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for the children’s book Sunrise Dance written by Serena Gingold Allen which I received a copy of in exchange for this review.

Charlie was struggling with what to draw in his Homeschool Art Class this morning until I handed him my copy of Sunrise Dance and Charlie saw the animals in the book starting there day. Which lead to Charlie showcasing what he does on a daily basis.

Which lead us outside on a walk to see what animals we could find and what they were doing. As we walked, we read Sunrise Dance and discussed the animals and what they were doing as well as what they eat. Then we discussed where we could find the animals at.

Throughout the book Charlie would tell me who would like which animal and why. Then we went over the colors of the animals and how we could find more books on each animal. The storyline of Sunrise Dance is a book children of adults would enjoy as well as adults.

If you haven’t heard of Sunrise Dance I hope you take the time to purchase a copy of this book from your local Book Store or we found a copy on Amazon. When you purchase your copy pick up a copy for any teacher or Librarian you know.
