The January Ultimate Blog Challenge!

The Mommies Reviews

Welcome to Day 21! I’m back with The Ultimate Blog Challenge. January 21st, 2022. If I were in Vegas, I would yell, “Black Jack!” Although, I know a lot of people including David who would like to go to Las Vegas I will sit this trip out unless you want to see some of the Shows or attend the Rodeo because I don’t want to Gamble. Do you want to?

Although, my friend Karren Haller from Oh My Heartsie lives in Las Vegas, and I wouldn’t mind visiting her. Because even though I met Karen online she is more like a sister from another mother and someone I would like to meet at least once.

The funny part of this is at one time Karren lived in Dallas and owned a Beauty Shop and even though I live in Fort Worth which is about 30 minutes from Dallas we never meet while Karen was close. It was Direct Sales and a site called Ning that brought us together.

Do you have a friend like that because I have a lot of people, I’ve meet online that have become family and I wouldn’t be who I am without them, and I would be lost without these people? I know if I need anything no, matter the time of day or night they would be there for not only me but David and Charlie.

Now that I’m done blabbering on, I wanted to share this morning’s prompt with you:

Imagine the Future! Or compare to things!

What will your life/family/blog/business/town/state be like in 1 year? 5 years? 10 years? Think it’ll be like the Jetsons? Or more like Star Trek?

Remember analogies? They were on the SATs and on the Miller Analogies test. Even if you don’t remember them, they are in the form of: ____ is like ____: Compare two things. It might be how blogging is like cooking (I have no idea – you tell me), or how it’s not at all like cooking. Some very interesting blog posts can come out of comparing two different things.

I just PRAY in one-year Covid has gone away completely and everything can return to real life.

As for 5 years I don’t even want to think about that. I will be 62 and I wonder if David and I will even be here then. David’s parents will be closer to 90 and I don’t want to think about them not being here.

David could retire but with our Finances the way they are there is no, way he can even think of retiring.

Especially if Charlie wants to go to College.

Charlie will be 19 and might be out of the house, graduated and working. Oh, Lord where did the time go? I really really don’t even want to think about a day where Charlie and David aren’t here.

Now, I have a question for you.

Where do you think you will be in 1year?5 years? 10 years?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
