The Lord answers many questions even when we don’t know the answer to questions we have been asked. Including what do you want for Christmas from David and Charlie. I kept telling them I had no, clue. Then this Press Release arrived from Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre and being the biggest Elvis fan ever and never getting to see Elvis in person. I can at least attend Elvis Birthday Celebrations with Victor Trevino Jr and celebrate Elvis birthday. Would you like to come with me?

Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre is thrilled to announce they will be bringing back Victor Trevino Jr. to the stage celebrating Elvis’ 87th Birthday, Saturday, January 8thth, @ 7:30PM.

The Isis Theatre, which first opened in 1915, has sat vacant in the Fort Worth Stockyards since 1988. Now open as Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre, the newly renovated venue preserves the original Theatre’s rich history and welcomes audiences to discover its unique character and Historical eminence. The new Downtown Cowtown will meet the Fort Worth Stockyards with authenticity while providing something special for everyone. 

About Victor Trevino Jr.

Victor Trevino Jr is rated as one of the top Elvis Tribute Artists in the world. While his roots are from Texas, he loves taking his performance everywhere. Victor Trevino Jr has been invited to perform on many stages all over the world, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Mexico, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

Victor was recently asked to represent Graceland for a special appearance on CNN where he was interviewed and sang a medley of Elvis songs. He performs for the world’s largest tribute show “Legends in Concert”, including a residency in Las Vegas where “Legends in Concert” is still the longest show running on the Las Vegas Strip. Victor has also had a residency in Waikiki, Hawaii with Legends in Concert at the Royal Hawaiian Theatre. Victor was in the original cast and still periodically performs on the “Elvis Lives” tour. The only Elvis Tribute tour production sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises Graceland.

Currently, Victor is touring with “Presley, Perkins, Carl & Cash” & “One Night with the King” performing in Casinos and Theatres all over the United States and Canada. He also performs in “An American Trilogy” the only Elvis Tribute show that tours all across the Australian continent. 

Victor has won many competitions as an Elvis Tribute Artist including the 2016 EPIC World Championship in Memphis. 2012 World Champion for the Potawatomi Tribute to the King Competition. As well as 2nd place in the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition in Memphis, the only Elvis contest sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises Graceland

Victor has opened for Grammy award winning acts such as Boys II Men and Foreigner at fundraising and private events. He has also had the honor to work with many of Elvis’s colleagues and friends such as Cowboy Jack Clement, Sonny Burgess, Charles Stone (Elvis’s tour manager from 1973-1977) Wanda Jackson, Joe Esposito, Art Adams and DJ Fontana (Elvis’s original drummer). In 2014 Victor was named an ambassador and given a key to city of Tupelo Mississippi (Elvis’s hometown). Victor never claims to be Elvis because he believes “there is only ONE Elvis Presley”, but his goal is to recreate the magic, wildness and showmanship of one the world’s greatest and influential entertainers.

Located in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards, the newly renovated Downtown Cowtown at the Isis Theatre engages guests with a variety of unique, quality entertainment. 

Formerly the New Isis Theatre, the venue originally opened in 1915 as a single screen movie Theatre featuring silent films with live Piano accompaniment. After a fire in 1935, the Theatre was rebuilt into one of the largest Movie Screen Theatres in Fort Worth. The Theatre closed its doors in 1988 and the building sat vacant for 30+ years until its rebirth in 2021.

Now, Downtown Cowtown at the Historic Isis Theatre gives new, vibrant life to the space. This 500-seat multipurpose venue boasts a private event area, a family-friendly bar, movie concessions and a gift shop. Preserving 106 years of historical significance, the Theatre gives audiences an opportunity to revel in its unique character and artifacts that transport them back in time.
