Good morning, how are you? As we begin a new day and begin to get ready for our event this evening. I wanted to bring you our series sharing Unique Holidays: October 21st. 2021. Take a look at the Holidays being shared today and let me know which one you most want to celebrate.
Mark this Holiday on your calendar which is is Babbling Day and I would like to remind you this isn’t a day to remain silent. Tell everyone you know about this Holiday.
What’s all the chatter about over this Holiday? Well, on Babbling Day, we celebrate those of us with a glib tongue. You know those people when you hear them. They’re talking gibberish and they never stop talking. They babble on and on and they can turn a simple sentence statement into an endless dissertation.
Spend this day babbling like a baby, if you must. As for me, I will spend it by a babbling brook.
History and Origin of Babbling Day:
Ecard companies and Calendar sites online have all referenced this Holiday but, we didn’t find the originator or any information about the Holiday.
We found an occasional reference to this as a “National” da but can you imagine our illustrious political leader debating and babbling endlessly about making this a National Holiday!?
Aren’t you excited!? The very first question you must be asking yourself is “Why!?” Well, we don’t know why. And, it might be better that we don’t know.
Here it is, staring you in the face. A wild and wacky Holiday with absolutely no history to define it’s purpose for being. One might suggest that the creator of this wacky Holiday, was himself a bit wacky.
How do you celebrate this Holiday? We suggest that if you have nothing better to do, you start counting buttons.

Eating Mexican or Tex-Mex tonight? A pile of Nachos is to be included with the meal. As a snack, Nachos are great eaten plain by themselves. However, both Salsa and Cheese dips ie QUESO are sure to be surround Nachos. Reigning supreme in the world of Nachos, is the Nacho Supreme and home recipes abound and they begin with a deep pile of Nachos covered with Cheese. Jalapenos are also certain to be a key ingredient. Other ingredients include: Chicken, Beef, Salsa, Black Bean, Onions, and Black Olives. If your in need of Veggies on this day you can add Lettuce, Tomatoes, or Guacamole on the side.
We may not know anything about who created either International or National Nacho Day, or why the Holiday was created, or when the Holiday was first celebrated. But, the creation of the Nacho itself is well documented. The inventor is Mexican Agnacio “Nacho” Anaya in 1943. Anaya lived and worked in the Mexican border town of Piedra Negras. After a long day of shopping, several U.S. Army wives entered the restaurant looking for something to eat. The kitchen staff had left, so Anaya went into the kitchen and went to work creating a snack for them. He cut Tortillas (some say he cut up Tostados) into triangles, placed Cheese and Jalapenos on top. Then he put his creation into the oven to melt the Cheese. When Agnacio “Nacho” Anaya removed his creation from the oven, the Nacho was born.
T Celebrate International and National Nacho Day: Reach for Nachos and enjoy them!
Origin of International and National Nacho Day:
Nachos are very popular and when I began my research into this Holidays, we thought we’d find a huge amount of information about the creator, why this Holiday was created, and when the Holiday was created. We were astonished to find virtually no Historical information as to its origin. Our research suggests that PartyExcuses.com created National Nacho Day. It does appear that both of these Holidays were created in the early 2000’s. International Nacho Day appears to have arrived on the scene just a little before National Nacho Day.
There is no information or documentation confirming this to be a true “National” day and we found no Congressional records or Presidential proclamation.
National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day
National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day celebrates a delicious Fall dessert. In October, Pumpkins are everywhere. So, why not put two of your favorites together….. Pumpkins and Cheesecake!? Pumpkin Cheesecake makes a great dessert. Did you know Pumpkin Pie Cheesecake is both nutritious and healthy.
Its easy to enjoy this Holiday just visit a Bakery, and purchase a Pumpkin Cheesecake. Or, better yet, make a homemade Pumpkin Cheesecake.
History and Origin of National Pumpkin Cheesecake Day:
Our research did not find the creator, or the origin of this Holiday but we discovered lots of reference to this Holiday on Ecard sites and Calendar sites. But, there was no factual information about the Holiday.
Almost all food related Holidays are referred to as “National”. I guess we Americans like our food… which if you were to look at me it shows.
We did not find any documentation confirming this to be a “National” Holiday and we found no Congressional records or Presidential proclamation.
Thank you,
