Good morning, welcome to Monday and new week full of new possibilities. As we sit down for school this morning I wanted to share Homeschool Resources: math with you. Take a look at the websites and let me know if you’ve used them with your students. If so what did you like about the resources or dislike and why?
Yay Math! offers lifetime subscriptions to comprehensive and high-quality online Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 courses featuring math video lessons filmed in a live classroom, with real students asking real questions.
Grades K and up, with parental supervision
Learn to code with these free online courses from Code.org.
When you get to the site, choose from the following grade levels:
- Grades K-5
- Grades 6-12
- Beyond K-12
You can learn to make your own game, app, or computer drawing, build real working apps, games and websites using blocks, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and more. You can create an account to be able to save your progress, but it is not necessary.
There are also “Hour of Code” tutorials if you don’t have time for a full course.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
