This is a review for Stash Tea who sent me the flavors you will find inside this post in exchange for this review.
As soon as the Tea’s arrived I thought of David’s Aunt Judy who was having Back Surgery and wouldn’t be able to do things for herself. But she loves Tea.
Charlie and I went through what we received and made a list of 4 flavors to pick up for her at the Grocery Store with Tea Cookies, Napkins and Meat and Cheese and created a Gift Basket for David’s mom to take her.
Pomegranate Raspberry has a nice smooth taste and not ever tasting a Pomegranate or Raspberry I wasn’t sure I would like this but I did and I could see making a cup of this Tea on a cold night and cuddling up with a book.
Charlie and David also tried the Pomegranate Raspberry and they thought the taste was good and that neither fruit overpowered the other fruit. Charlie said he would like to see what a Popsicle would taste like made from this tea.
David wasn’t feeling well the other day and he wanted something that might calm his stomach. I had David try the Ginger Peach Tea which is a Green Tea and Matcha and David said this tea helped him alot.
Charlie and I both took a drink and even though it is a Peach and Ginger Tea I don’t like Peaches I could see us drinking this again because the Peach isn’t overpowering.
Meyer Lemon Herbal Tea is one I knew I wouldn’t try because I do not like Lemons in any Soda while David and Charlie both do. Especially Lemon Tea.
I wasn’t wrong because as soon as I showed Charlie this container of Tea he went into the kitchen and made him a cup. As he drank the Tea Charlie let me know we needed to order more because he liked it a lot and so did David.
Asian Pear Harmony
David was excited to find out one of the Teas had Pears in it that he snagged this box to take to work with him and Charlie and I weren’t able to try this flavor out.
But David liked Asian Pear Harmony so much that he has asked me to pick up a box for him to take to work and when I do I will keep one or two tea bags out so Charlie and I can try it on our own.
Charlie and I were studying Flowers in school the other day and while we were I made up a cup of Wild Raspberry Hibiscus Tea for our morning snack so we could discuss this flower.
Charlie was surprised to find out Flowers are used in Tea but he liked this one a lot and so did I. I can’t wait until my sister comes to visit because Charlie wants her to try this flavor out.
White Peach was both David and Charlie’s favorite Tea and has become a Staple in our Home. Not only that all of Charlie’s friends enjoy this Tea and stay out of mine now.
Before you ask me what I thought of White Peach like I mentioned earlier I don’t care for Peaches so I didn’t try it and let me tell you Charlie kept saying I didn’t know what I was missing but that is okay with me I still will pass on this one.
The other morning, it was a little chilly in our home and everyone was asleep so I made myself a cup of Orange Spice Black Tea and went and made a Bubble Bath and took my book into the bathroom and spent time with myself.
I am so glad I did because this was my favorite Tea and I didn’t want to share Orange Spice Black Tea with David or Charlie. They can make there own cup if I don’t hide this box of Tea.
Double Spice Chai was one tea I wasn’t to sure about because I thought the Spices might bother my Stomach but they didn’t and I will be using this this Winter when its cold and I want something different and unique to drink.
When I saw Sunny Orange Ginger I wasn’t to sure of it but I went ahead and prepared a cup of this Tea for me and Charlie to share during our Homeschool Break.
Charlie took a drink and said the Orange Flavor was calming and that he didn’t mind the Ginger which was a mild taste. Then I tasted the cup of Tea and I also like the calming taster of Orange and Ginger. Both Charlie and I wouldn’t mind having this again.
Ginger Fire Chai
David and Charlie fixed them a cup of this Tea the other day while I was working and I could hear them discussing how they liked the taste of Chai and that they thought my daughter Leslie would enjoy having a cup of this Tea in the morning before leaving for work.
Charlie brought me a sip of his Tea and like Charlie and David I liked the taste and this Tea is calming and something I would use when I’m stressed out.
Strawberry Pomegranate was another Tea I knew Charlie and I wouldn’t like because neither of us like Strawberries but David loves this Fruit and would eat it every day if she could.
I was right because as soon as I unpacked the box David couldn’t wait to try Strawberry Pomegranate and as soon as David did he said he wanted to keep this on hand at all times.
As well as keep a box of Strawberry Pomegranate in his locker at work for the days he needs a pick me up. Then David said he would like to give his mom a box because she likes Strawberries as much as David does.
Mango Passionfruit
Charlie had fun trying this Tea that it lead to a lesson in school as Charlie wanted to research Passionfruit and see what it was and learn more about the taste of the Tea.
It’s Back to School time for mom’s and that means even more work for her. Which is why there’s nothing like Tea especially Stash Tea to help keep mom sane during Back to School Season – or, any time!
If you would like a glass of refreshing Tea you should check out Stash Tea which offers us 150 flavors/varieties to choose from – ranging from fully Caffeinated to Caffeine Free.
All you have to do is steep the Tea (to steal 5-10-15-20 or even 30 minutes for yourself). You can use Ice in a glass of Tea to, infuse your favorite recipe with Tea, or make the kids run around doing Scavenger Hunts finding mommy’s Tea bags to cooking with Tea with your kids (Iced Tea Pops or Iced Tea Ice Cream will have them “screaming” or NOT for more!).
1 1/2 cups rum (or your favorite spirit; vodka and bourbon are great options)
Citrus fruit slices, for garnish (optional)
Ice
Add Stash Pomegranate Raspberry tea bags to a 2-quart or larger saucepan of near boiling water. Cover and steep with the heat off for up to 10 minutes.
Carefully remove and discard the tea bags.
Pour in the sugar and stir until dissolved.
Add the cold water, then carefully transfer the cooled tea to a pitcher.
Stir in the rum.
Refrigerate the iced tea until chilled and ready to serve.
Before serving, add sliced citrus fruit to the pitcher, if desired.
To serve, pour the spiked iced tea into tall glasses filled with ice and garnish with a lemon slice.
Note: The alcohol can also be served on the side to allow your guests to add it to their iced tea themselves. Use 1.5 ounces per glass.
