Neighborhood Cafe

The other day David and I were out in Hurst, Texas running errands and we were running out of time. We had to hurry and get home so David could get ready for work.

But David offered to take me to lunch and I mentioned the Buttermilk Cafe or the Neighborhood Cafe. David didn’t tell me which one he was going to but pulled into the parking lot with the Neighborhood Cafe,

I was excited because I knew I would be able to get a old Fashioned Breakfast. We walked in and sat down as I did I enjoyed looking around at the decorations. I even saw a friend having breakfast.

While we waited for our food to arrive LouAnn and I were able to catch which was nice. After seeing her I knew the Lord brought me here for breakfast.

I do want to return and have lunch one day because they have Vegetables and Hamburger Steak with Onions which is my favorite dinners. Would you like to go with me one day?

For Breakfast I choose Eggs Over Easy which was perfectly cooked. Hashbrowns which was Crispy but not burned. Toast and they had Mixed Fruit Jelly which is my favorite and I asked for Sausage which was perfectly cooked and not Spicy. I would order this special again and David said he would to.

David ordered Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs Over Medium with Toast and Hashbrowns. The Chicken Fried Steak was made of Real Meat and just the right amount of breading.

David said the Eggs were perfect and he liked the Hashbrowns a lot. The Toast was good dipped in the Gravy from the Chicken Fried Steak. David can’t wait to return.

The waitress was so kind and you could tell they knew there customers. They made everyone who walked through the door feel like they were part of there family. Any question we asked about the Menu was answered quickly and efficiently.

I enjoyed looking at the Western Decorations on the wall. As well as the Antiques sat around the restaurant and sharing them with Charlie and David.
