This site offers free video lessons, worksheets and quizzes for middle school math plus Algebra I.

When you get to the website, you’ll see a menu of the video math lessons. Each grade year is divided into 4 quarters. Each math lesson includes:

  • A 10-15 minute video that teaches a math concept
  • A printable worksheet to practice the concept
  • An online quiz to test comprehension of the concept

As the announcement explained, after Mr. Lisle shows the student how to do a problem, you can “pause” the video, try a similar problem, and then advance the video to see Mr. Lisle demonstrate the solution.

Mr. Lisle clearly presents the material that will help students understand math concepts such as:

  • Multiplying and Dividing Fractions and Mixed Numbers
  • Fraction-Decimal Equivalency
  • Solving Algebraic Expressions
  • Converting Units of Measure
  • Graphing Linear Equations

Our only criticism is that sometimes Mr. Lisle lapses into a monotone presentation style that may lose a student’s attention. To avoid that, we suggest watching one lesson, do some activities, take a break and then return to watch another lesson.

Thank you,
