Betrayed by Work: Women’s Stories of Trauma, Healing and Hope after Being Fired (Vocational Guidance and Job Advice for Invaluable Women) by [Julia Erickson, Suzanne Vosburg]

Even though I own my own company I do work with Clients that can fire me if I don’t do something correctly and its scary. As well as hiring Employees including my own son who is 13 and wanting to work.

Having a copy of Betrayed by Work helped me learn what not to do in my own business as well as how to help my son became a Employee any boss would be proud to have.

As I read through Betrayed by Work I even found out this book relates to men who may have lost a job like David did when Covid-19 begin as he became more and more depressed and I didn’t know what to say or how to help him.

I just watched us sinker further and further into debt but if I had had Betrayed by Work and could have gotten David to read the book things might have turned around faster for us.
