#HomeschoolWithBoardGames The Wizard of Oz Emerald City Opoly

The Mommies Reviews

I can’t wait to go to the Toy Store this week to purchase a new Board Game for us to use in our series #HomeschoolWithBoardGames The Wizard of Oz Emerald City Opoly . Each week one of us chooses a new Game.

This week its my turn and for #HomeschoolWithBordGames MasterPieces Wizard of Oz is the Game I want to purchase this week. Because we collect Monopoly Games and the Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies.

Make your way along the YELLOW BRICK ROAD™ to an EMERALD CITY™ adventure! Collect your favorite characters along way, including SCARECROW™, TIN MAN™, COWARDLY LION™, and many others.

Avoid the castle of the WICKED WITCH™ and her field of poppies, then get ready to meet the famous WIZARD OF OZ™ and discover THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOME™.

Spelling:

Math Class

Count all the Game pieces including the money and create 5 math problems for someone in your home to work out.

Then have someone create 5 math problems for you to work out.

Act out a scene from one of the cards in the Game and as your describing what happened let them know if this also happened in the movie and if not why do you think it wasn’t in the movie?

Music Class:

Create a song or Jingle which can be played/ sung before you begin playing the Game.

Cooking Class:

Look up what the State Food of Kansas is and create it for dinner that evening. Then make a snack based on things in the Game.

The Wizard of Oz

Film stills and original dialogue from the beloved movie The Wizard of Oz tell the tale of a young girl named Dorothy who flies over the rainbow with her dog, Toto, befriends a Tin Man, a Scarecrow, and a Lion on a yellow brick road to the Emerald City, and defeats a Wicked Witch before meeting a Wizard and learning that there’s no place like home.

Thank you,
