Have you heard of the Center For Home Education in Watauga, Texas? With me homeschooling Charlie I was told I should find a Homeschool Support group.
I searched online for a organization close to us. I found the Center For Home Education. They will be hosting a meeting for Parents Beginning to Homeschool.
I would like to let you know the meeting is on January 26th at 7 pm. If I am able to and David is off I plan on attending this meeting to help me with Homeschooling Charlie.
We can take our significant others, but I’m not sure about children. I will be calling to find out before I go because I would like for Charlie to attend as well.
Charlie and I can shop at the store they have were I purchase resources for school. Or register Charlie for classes if they have any he would like to take.
I think visiting the Center For Home Education will help both of us a lot which would give me a break. Charlie and I might not be as stressed as we are right now.
Getting Charlie to do his work is worse than having a tooth pulled. No, matter what I tell Charlie he argues with me. I’m sick and tired of it. Threatening Charlie with I will put you back into school or sending him to his grandparents.
I hope Center For Home Education will keep me from feeling like I am failing Charlie. I hate feeling like this which is not only affecting Charlies schoolwork but my housework and also my work as well.
I end up begging, pleading and fighting to get Charlie’s work done and at the end of the day he still hasn’t gotten the work done nor have I gotten my work done.
Which causes me to be late getting the reviews and things I need done which isn’t fair to me or my clients. This is affecting my blog .I’m tired of this. Until I can get Charlie back into counseling then theCenter For Home Education is the only other choice I have at the moment.
ALL ACTIVELY HOMESCHOOLING PARENTS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND OUR WELCOME TO HOMESCHOOLING MEETING.
5733 WATAUGA ROAD AT THE CENTER FOR HOME EDUCATION.
THE MEETINGS IS HAPPENING ON:
JANUARY 26TH AT 7:00
Don’t “do” home school alone! Come join us!
We will take one subject per month and discuss it.
Topics could be: Learning styles, curriculum, organization, budget, discipline, cultivating an atmosphere of love and inspiration, taking care of mom and dad, what to do with toddlers, free-time, chores, sports, relatives and so much more!
Our goal is to provide support to homeschooling mothers and help homeschool families have opportunities to become connected with other homeschooling families in our community.
We want to inspire you along your journey to HOMEschool your children!
If you know someone who is actively homeschooling their children, tell them that they are invited regardless if they take classes at the Center OR Not.
