Home Ec for Everyone: Practical Life Skills in 118 Projects

The Mommies Reviews

This is a review for Home Ec for Everyone: Practical Life Skills in 118 Projects published by Sharon & David Bowers which I was sent a copy of for this review.

When I was in Middle School and High School Home Economics was my favorite class. I wish they still offered the class because I believe every child needs the skills taught in this class.

In Homeschooling I can teach the subject Charlie shows a interest in or that I think Charlie should learn. Charlie has asked to learn to sew in the past which I want to teach him this year.

Charlie also enjoys cooking and grocery shopping. Which is why I have Charlie taking a Cooking Class I’m teaching Charlie. This is new to me so having Home Ec for Everyone: Practical Life Skills in 118 Projects is going to be a life saver because there is tips on teaching Charlie the proper way to do things.

As I read through Home Ec for Everyone: Practical Life Skills in 118 Projects: Cooking · Sewing · Laundry & Clothing · Domestic Arts · Life Skills I even found tips I didn’t know which I was able to share with David.

Charlie and I can print out the list to put into a Binder for our friend who is leaving for College soon. As well as use the list to stock our Pantry so Charlie has the items he needs in our cooking class.

I can’t fold a fitted sheet for the life of me and inside the book it tells us how to fold sheets correctly. If you look for charlie and I this morning we will be practicing sheet folding

Charlie wanted me to let you know is favorite tip was how to make Mashed Potatoes. LOL David couldn’t wait to read the section on “How to make a household budget which he needs to do ASAP.
