Clean up Your Room Day

I BELIEVE the Lord is speaking to me this morning because its clean up your room day. Just this weekend I kept looking around my room saying I needed to clean it.

Then I get up this morning to share the Holiday for today and low and behold its clean up your room day. If that isn’t a sign from God then I don’t know what is.

Is your room messy? If so would you like to join me this morning in clean up your room day? Remember this doesn’t have to just be your bedroom it can be any room in your house. Let’s get to cleaning.

Clean Up Your Room Day is a day parents eagerly await……….. and kids dread!

If you’ve got kids, its very possible that their rooms are a vast wasteland, completely filled with “good stuff”. “Messy” is too kind of an adjective to describe the conditions.

Its impossible to walk through the room and every dresser and shelf (and under the bed), is packed with everything imaginable. Dust has been piling up as long as your child has been around. Comfy, cozy, and quite livable to the child, its an everyday source of frustration for the “folks”.

To mom and dad’s delight, and every child’s chagrin, Clean Up Your Room Day arrives every May 10th. It’s time to get out the shovels and call in an industrial sized dumpster. Its time for everyone to clean your rooms!

Clean Up Your Room Day also applies to your parents. Children you may want to inspect there rooms to assure that mom and dad practice what they preach!

Although, in our home mine and David’s bedrooms are a wholly mess while Charlie’s room isn’t spotless but cleaner than most children’s rooms and before you ask did David and I clean his room.

No, Charlie cleaned his own room which Charlie has been keeping hos bedroom clean since we let him remodel his room. I’m so proud of Charlie.I need to take lessons from him and so does David.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
