Good morning, welcome to our Blogging from A to Z April Challenge: Letter M. I’m back this morning with Homeschool websites beginning with the Letter N. A Homeschool Must-Have starting with M and a Dessert beginning with N.
Video-based, self-graded courses, perfect for middle-schoolers, high-schoolers, and everyone else!
If you know other resources starting with M I should add to the list leave me a comment and I will get them added as soon as possible. Or if you know things for the rest of the alphabet leave me a comment.
For our Homeschool Must-Have you will need notebooks of all kinds with different amounts of paper in them. Don’t forget when your choosing the Notebooks to let the kids choose fun colors and covers.

I thought in Charlie’s Homeschool Cooking Class we could make a New York Cheesecake because this is David’s favorite dessert. Charlie might even eat some with him.
Or David can pick up different topping for the Cheesecake and take it down to his fathers to share with him. Because I don’t care for Chessecake. Do you? If so which one do you like and why?
New York Cheesecake
15 graham crackers, crushed
2 tablespoons butter, melted
4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 ½ cups white sugar
¾ cup milk
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¼ cup all-purpose flour
Directions
Instructions Checklist
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9 inch springform pan.
- Step 2 In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter. Press onto bottom of springform pan.
- Step 3 In a large bowl, mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Blend in milk, and then mix in the eggs one at a time, mixing just enough to incorporate. Mix in sour cream, vanilla and flour until smooth. Pour filling into prepared crust.
- Step 4 Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour. Turn the oven off, and let cake cool in oven with the door closed for 5 to 6 hours; this prevents cracking. Chill in refrigerator until serving.
Thank you,
