This is a review for Mabel’s Labels who sent me Plant and Garden Markers in exchange for a spot in our Easter Gift Guide.
Now you might ask why would you want to put Plant and Garden Markers inside a Child’s Easter Basket and for Charlie its because were Homeschooling full time and he is taking a Cooking Class.
Gardening allows us to grow our own foods to use in the recipes Charlie creates. As well as promotes getting outside and getting dirty. Getting Charlie up and moving and off the Electronics.
For your children putting Plant and Garden Markers inside there Easter Basket would promote Family Time with the kids allowing them to learn about the ground.
I can’t wait to go to Home Depot and pick out Vegetables for our Garden. Charlie wants to start a Pizza Garden and a Salad Garden while I want to do a Flower Garden. If you were going to do a Garden what kind would you do and why?
On the labels Charlie and I received are Peppers and Charlie says we should do Bell Peppers while David says we should plant Jalapeno Peppers. Even though David said he isn’t going to help us with our garden he is getting excited and I know he will be out there with us.
Garlic, Onions which Charlie and David doesn’t care for but perfect for our Pizza Garden. Along with Basil, Rosemary, Dill, Mint, Chives, Thyme, Parsley allowing us to create Spices to use on the Recipes we create in Charlies Homeschooling Cooking Class.
As well as Lettuce and Tomatoes for our Salad Garden. Cucumbers for Cucumbers and Onions which David loves even though he doesn’t like Onions. Go figure.
For me I can’t wait to plant the Peas and make Creamed Peas like my grandmother used to make me for dinner. Tomatoes I will take to my mother in law who loves Tomatoes out of the Garden with Salt and Pepper.
If were Blessed with enough food from our Garden we will be able to put it into Canisters to give as Gifts during the Holidays teaching Charlie how to can and wrap presents which is a Art Class.
As were gardening if we find other foods Charlie wants to grow we can pick up Ice cream Sticks and purchase Large Rectangle Labels which Charlie can create in our Art Class and print out.
When the Gifts are wrapped we can use Large Rectangle Labels we received with my Blog Name on the Gifts. Then everyone would know were there Gifts came from.
Although, Charlie is ready to order more Large Rectangle Labels that say From the Kitchen of Charles Cates because he doesn’t think the blog should get credit for his masterpieces. LOL
