National Puppy Day In our home our puppies are celebrated and spoiled all day every day. Do you have dogs and do you spoil them as well. Or do you have Cats which I would like to have.
March 23 is National Puppy Day
Also called International Puppy Day, a special day to recognize the unconditional love puppies give us, and the joy they bring into our lives. Or at least into my families lives.
National Puppy Day should come as no surprise, that one of the goals, is to encourage us to adopt orphaned puppies. Just don’t tell Charlie that because we have enough dogs.
But what I will share with Charlie is ways to Celebrate National Puppy Day: The top ways to celebrate is to adopt a puppy and to play with your puppy. Go visit your local Animal Shelter and Volunteer to play with the Puppies and take them on walks.
Take your puppy outside for walk or play ball with him with or for your puppy. Run to the store if you can and pick up a special treat for them. If your puppy isn’t a puppy but a dog you can still feel fee to extend these ideas to your “big, grown-up puppy”. You deserve love as well.
I honestly don’t think I have ever had Melba Toast but I remember people telling me to give it to Suzzane when she was teething. I am sure Charlie had some as well. Have you or someone you know had Melba Toast and did they like the taste?
I think we should make Homemade Ranch Dip or French Onion Dip. Before you say I don’t have a recipe I have you covered. Check out my post here.
National / World Agriculture Day
Date varies which would be the perfect day to start our Garden. But David is at work and I can’t get to the store to get any Seeds to plant. Although, my sister has Strawberries in her Garden. I wonder if she would share with David.
Additional Holidays:
Commemorates the day a huge Asteroid nearly missed hitting the earth. This is a perfect assignment to research for Science/ Social Studies.
