Spring Break begins for most students next week but Charlie is Homeschooling full time. Instead of doing Spring Break next week when everyone is out of school I plan on setting up a Staycation for us the first week of June and I will be looking into The Staybridge Suites Dallas – Grand Prairie.
While David is off this week I want to visit Grand Prairie Tourist Information Center to gather brochures of places we can visit. Once we get home Charlie and I can work on our plans and research the places we’ll be visiting.
Creating Lesson Plans and Unit Studies for Charlie to do while visiting Grand Prairie.
The Staybridge Suites Dallas – Grand Prairie hotel is offers state of the art amenities at an affordable price. Guests, staying enjoy apartment-style living and various complimentary services.
The rooms contain -suite hotel features comfortable beds, living spaces, fully equipped kitchens and ADA Compliance. Having Free Wi-Fi will allow Charlie to do his school work and for me to work while on Vacation.
Having a 24-hour fitness center will help me stay on track with my diet. Free laundry will allow us to pack less clothes and to not have wet clothes in our room from swimming. Charlie can’t wait to find out what a IHG Studio is
Knowing we are only 10 miles from the AT&T stadium, Globe Life Park, Lone Star Park, Six Flags amusement park, Hurricane Harbor water park, Epic central indoor water park and Grand Prairie outlet mall is close enough for Charlie and I to visit if David ends up having to work.
I will be able to enjoy a full hot breakfast buffet each Charlie and David sleep in. Allowing me to work out or work without being bothered with them asking what are we going to do.
I liked finding out there is a Social on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights with complimentary appetizers. David is off on Wednesday and Thursday.
If we go one of those nights Charlie could hang out in the room and David and I could go on a date which we haven’t done in a long time. Or I could go on my own for me time while the boys boys have guy time.
I will be checking out the shuttle service which offers transportation to area restaurants and shopping. Encase David has to work and Charlie and I don’t have transportation we would still be able to get out.
Although for me I would be more than happy to hang out at the Outdoor Pool and to one of our 2 grills to make lunch for my family. Then we could grab an ice cream from the Pantry Market which is open 24/7 for our late-night snack attacks.
Over 3000 sqft of flexible meeting spaces caters to group, corporate, government, and association travelers alike. For relaxation and fun in the sun make your home away from home at The Staybridge Suites Dallas – Grand Prairie.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
