OLIVIA ROX RELEASES “IT’S CHRISTMASTIME” MUSIC VIDEO FEATURING WARREN HILL. I can’t wait to listen to Olivia Rox son with Charlie as neither of us have heard of OLIVIA ROX. Have you?
Los Angeles, CA – (December 1, 2020) – Singer/songwriter/pop star Olivia Rox has released the music video to her original holiday song, “It’s Christmastime,” featuring world renowned jazz artist Warren Hill on Saxophone, who just so happens to be her father.
The Christmas single was released on November 2 via her label Songbird Records and quickly jumped to #15 on the Media Base Holiday Music chart. Isn’t that nice?
It really does feel like Christmastime when you listen to Olivia Rox’s new single, complete with her silky voice, sleigh bells and gospel choir. This magical song, penned by Rox herself, is quickly becoming a holiday classic.
The music video takes us behind the scenes of recording the song “It’s Christmastime” in the studio, interspersed with live footage from Olivia’s Live from Cancun concert, featuring Warren Hill on Saxophone.
The video is directed by Tamara Van Cleef and was filmed pre-pandemic. The inspiration for “It’s Christmastime” came from Olivia’s special childhood memories of spending time with her family during the holidays in Boulder, Colorado.
She explains, “This song is all about the joy of Christmas and favorite Christmas memories; baking cookies, cuddling up in a cozy blanket by the fireplace and watching “It’s a Wonderful Life,” and even that indescribable feeling of waking up to see the world blanketed in white on a snowy day.”
Olivia adds, “during these tough times in the pandemic, we all more than ever before need the feeling of Christmas. A somehow magically uniting force that brings us all together, even when we’re apart.
I hope that my song helps bring that magic to your home this Christmas season.
