Having grown up in poverty, Demario Davis found himself treading the wrong path. His life was filled with drugs, alcohol, violence, and eventually, jail.
Despite adversity, he never gave up on his dream of playing NFL football, but he didn’t go through any sort of transformation to achieve that dream. He led the same immoral life until a message from God warned that he was dangerously close to losing everything.
Demario became a pro football player, eventually signing with the New Orleans Saints, but his success was due to a search for something greater, which he found with the help of faith. He discovered greatness is not based on a scoreboard or money in a bank account, but instead, on the redemption gifted to us by Christ.
In this inspirational memoir, meet a man who went from troubled kid to professional athlete, all with the Lord’s guidance. Our wins and losses do not define us.
It is God’s call on our lives that is most important, and Demario’s life is evidence of the power of Prayer and faith. In the midst of what the world deemed defeat, he learned what it means to be a true champion and make a blessed difference in the world.
