Nowadays, people’s main priority is the health and safety of oneself and their respective families. But we cannot deny the fact that by considering safety at all times, we might be able to compromise the fun and adrenaline during holidays and parties.
Let us say for example, this year’s Halloween. You might start to think like “How will we be able to go trick-or-treating if we need to perform social distancing?”
Some might also utter this question that says: “Is this year’s Halloween cancelled?” Keep your hopes up ‘cause there are various clever tips to celebrate this year’s spooky holiday even if the Corona virus gets on our way!
Trick-or-Treats are still advisable, as long as you make sure that you keep a real 6 feet distance from others, and you choose to roam just around your neighborhood.
Or if you don’t want to be the one going around looking for sweets, pump up your game by wrapping goods in individual goodie bags and display it on your yard, that the kids will not have a hard time getting it.
Slay ‘em all with your most creative costumes! Maybe it would be nice to dress up as a Vampire in facemask, or a Werewolf in face shield; either way, you’re not just showcasing your creativity, but also your dedication to keeping yourself and your family safe.
Let your friends and neighbors witness your artistry by doing a DIY photoshoot at home, and post your exemplary pictures on social media!
Now if you really want to see your friends and have a party with them, keep your celebrations outdoors. Maintain social distancing, and make sure that all of them have incorporated masks on their respective costumes. In this way, risks of spreading the virus will lessen, and the risk of spreading happiness with loved ones increases.
For the home buddies, it is the best time to set your projectors up and make those corns popping. Gear on for a ‘screams on screen’ kinda themed movie night.
Huddle up with your family in the entertainment room and do some “Try not to Scream on Scary Scenes” challenge. This activity can also be leveled up by trying to pick the most unique snacks; like Brain Shaped Cupcakes or zombie-faced Cookies.
This crisis really limits our capability, but it doesn’t mean that our imaginations are. There will never be something wrong about having fun during these holidays that we’re used to celebrating during the normal times; but right now, it is important to stay safe and healthy while partying. So don’t forget to wear your masks and practice social distancing at all times!
