The Cornerstone Challenge Day Nine: Content that Highlights Uniqueness

How are you? For this mornings prompt in Day Nine: Content that Highlights Uniqueness. I thought I would share some of Charlie’s Art work which will be hung in my office.

The Art work Charlie does is done by free-hand and its what he likes or finds on Facebook. Or a character he knows someone would like to have. Charlie’s Art work is unique and sets him apart from the other children in our neighborhood.

I wish I could say Charlie got his talent for drawing from me but he doesn’t and it isn’t from my side of the family. Although, my dad could draw and used to decorate my lunch bags when I would carry my lunch.

Instead of spending money on a lunch kit because he had three children and didn’t have enough money for a lunch kit for all of us. I wish you could see the pictures my dad drew.

For those that don’t know anything about David and his family David can draw as well and he enjoys coloring with Map Pencils just like Charlie. I prefer crayons.

David’s Uncle Don is a Western Artist who does photographs for Western Novels. He owns Stagebrush Studios in Springtown, Texas. I wish I had one of his pictures which have been portrayed in our local Art Museums but I can’t afford one at the moment.

One day though I may have a original piece of Art if Charlie keeps drawing because he wants to be a Artist or a basketball player and honestly I could see Charlie doing both. Couldn’t you?

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
