If your Homeschooling your children and looking for classes for them to take then you should check out the Fort Worth Zoo who not only offers classes but host Homeschooling Days.
I can’t wait to take Charlie to the Fort Worth Zoo but more than that David who has been wanting to go forever. I hope when we go on Field Trips that it will get David more involved in Charlie’s studies.
The Fort Worth Zoo offers classes for home-schooled children ages 6 to 12 (classes are separated between 6- to 8-year old’s and 9- to 12-year old’s) from September to December. Classes, $35 each, are from 1:15 to 3:45 p.m. and include a live animal presentation and a themed lesson art and science lesson.
Fall 2020 Home School Classes
CHILDREN AGES 6 TO 8 AND 9 TO 12:
This fall we are inviting home school students to learn about the environmental factors affecting animals. Each class includes a science and art component as well as an animal visitor and snack time. Each class will have lessons and activities appropriate for their age group.

Home School Days:
During the fall we will offer several reduced-priced days for homeschool families. Even though we will not offer special events in the zoo at this time for the safety of our guests and staff, we would love for you all to come out and visit us.
