David loves playing Chess and what I didn’t know until the other day is so does his brother Mike and also David’s dad. Today I am excited to announce another #HGG Sponsor. The new sponsor is from Chess House. Before I share my thoughts with you about the new sponsor I would like to let you know they are sending me items to review but the thoughts in the review are all mine and mine alone.
The problem is I have been sent a Chess set to review which I am sure both David and Charlie will want it. Which is Okay as there is Learn Chess at Home: Starter Kit and a travel set I can give David the Learn Chess at Home: Starter Kit as he will be teaching Charlie to play. Then the 10.5″ Magnetic Wooden Travel Chess Game set I will be able to give Charlie
Charlie would be able to take this set down to Davids parents to play with his grandfather or Uncle. Or over to my sisters as she likes playing games with Charlie. This way Charlie could get my Nephew to sit down with him and they could play together as David was in the Chess Club in High school.
With us homeschooling Charlie we can use Chess for physical education, free time and also as an extracurricular class. Also, I can search for a homeschooling Cheese Club for Charlie to join. So he would be around other children his age. This way Charlie would be able to get out and socialize with other children which are very important.
If Charlie and David want me to play Chess with them there is a DVD Elliott’s Chess School #1 PAWN Level (on DVD) I can watch as I wouldn’t have any clue how to play Chess without it. I am also hoping they will sit down with me and watch the DVD. As Charlie can write a report on what he learned for English. Which would be something he hasn’t done as of yet in his homeschooling class.
