This is a review for Little Learning Hands who sent me one of there subscription boxes to check out in exchange for this review. The thoughts in the review is mine and my families no, one else.
Due to Covid-19 and parents not knowing what is going to happen when school when school resumes more and more parents are talking about Homeschooling.
I like how Little Learning Hands gives us hands on activities to do with our children. Allowing us to learn new skills such as sewing when we put together our Knot A Quilt Activity.
Or learning about States because in this months box Charlie and I will be learning about Mexico using crafts and recipes they included inside the box. Giving Charlie new recipes to make in our Art class.
I was excited to find out when we finish the activities that we can visit Little Hands Learning website and learn even more about Mexico with a adults help.
I liked finding out inside our box from Little Learning Hands was a Mexico Passport Sticker. I let Charlie know we would need if we were really traveling to Mexico. Charlie and I went online to learn what we would need when applying for a Passport expanding our studies.
I found a booklet about Mexico which covers ancient History I didn’t know. As well as fun facts we can share with our friends and family. We can learn the facts and out them our for our friends while serving one of the recipes in our kit.
David was excited to find out inside the kit is a 3D Puzzle of the Chichen Itza which allows us to create 3D Pyraimids and once we are done Charlie can drsw these out and write a story about what he has learned through Hands On Learning.
me I was most excited to find the Knot A Quilt Activity as I used to make quilts with my grandmother. Once Charlie masters this quilt we can purchase more Charlie can make and give as Gifts.
I was amazed when Charlie sat down and read the instructions and bgan to build his quilt on his own. When his friend Bradley came over Charlie showed him his quilt Bradley said he would like to make one as well.
I can’t wait to purchase more quilts for them as this will keep them off the Internet and learning throughout the Summer. I will buy a quilt for David and I to make as well making it a family affiar in place of Famly Game Night.
The recipe cards was a meal and a dessert which Charlie is going to make for his grandparents this week. I can’t wait to try the recipe out as I haven’t ever had Flan . Have you?
Charlie can take the cookbook to the store and do his own grocery shopping and gather his own utensils once we get home as the book comes with step by step instructions.
Once we set our table we can put the Table Talk Cards out for everyone to read and share new facts about Mexico with there friends. Charlie can include the facts in a report he will be doing and act them out for us in our Drama class.
Charlie liked the Mexico Flag and will be hanging it on our State wall we are in the process of building. As well as drawing the flag inside his Junk Journal for Art class.
I was able to surspie Charlie with money from Mexico and we learned to count by looking up numbers online as well as more denominations of money once again adding to our studies.
About: Little Learning Hands
As full-time working parents, we have struggled with being able to get creative around fun-yet-educational activities for kids. We found that in many of our children’s activities, life skills were long lost and forgotten. We took it in our own hands to create a kit that does just that: help our children develop important life skills through fun and play.
4 Things you will learn from Little Learning Hands: 1) Steam Values, 2) Life Skills, 3) Cultural Adventures, 4) Family Fun all in one fun kit built for children as well as adults.
You can purchase Little Hands monthly, every 3 months, 6 months or even 12 months making Homeschooling planning so much easier. What are you waiting on get your kit ordered now.
