Scooby Doo Lesson Plans

The Mommies Reviews

This Friday for our Free Day when we watch movies Charlie chose Scooby Doo because I had given Charlie the whole collection of Scooby Doo shows for Christmas.

For our Art class Charlie and I got out our chalk and we went outside where Charlie drew a favorite scene from the shows we watched. For Drama class Charlie acted out Scooby’s part in for David.

Scooby-Doo Graphs

Nothing motivates kids like a cartoon character. Using macaroni shaped into characters from the Scooby-Doo series, your class will practice sorting, classification, and graphing skills. First, they sort macaroni into groups, then analyze their data. Finally, they graph this data in the computer lab.

Math’s No Mystery with Scooby-Doo

Grades: Elementary (1-2)
Subject Area: Math
Made Possible By: Warner Bros. Pictures

Let Scooby-Doo show your students how to solve all sorts of math mysteries — coin calculations, number patterns, graphing, even measuring inches and centimeters with a special Scooby ruler!

For Discussion Questions you can use this Lesson Plan I found on National Nannies

While we were in Walmart the other day I found Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine which came with Fred. I would like to go back and pick Scooby-Doo The Mystery Machine up and see if I can find the rest of the characters for Charlie and I to use to act out scenes from the movies.

For reading I plan on stopping by our local book stores and seeing if they have Monster Mutt Madness (Scooby-Doo! Beginner Mysteries) or SCOOB! A Dog’s Best Friend (Scooby-Doo) (Step into Reading) which Charlie can read to David.

For our Game night I would like to get Monopoly Scooby-Doo! Board Game | Collectible Monopoly Game and CLUE: Scooby Doo! Board Game because clue is Charlie’s favorite board game.

David also likes Scooby-Doo. Along with my nephew David M. and we could invite my nephew David and his family over to watch movies and play games with us because he loves Scooby-Doo to.

To finish out our lessons I plan on letting Charlie use Play Do to make us cookies in the shape of items you would find in a Scooby-Doo movie or book.

When Charlie completes his lesson plan on Scooby-Doo I plan on going to Walmart and purchasing Scooby Doo Scuba Beach Towel David I found for Charlie to use if or when we go swimming this Summer.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
