Kenmark Eyewear Partners with the National Forest Foundation to Donate Portion of Paradigm Sales for Earth Day

The Mommies Reviews

LOUISVILLE, KY – APRIL 17, 2020 – Kenmark Eyewear, a leader in crafting and distributing original optical eyewear and sunglasses, is excited to share that they are partnering with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) on their 50 Million for Our Forests tree planting campaign. The NFF supports restoration and community engagement on National Forests across the country. By planting 50 million trees, the NFF is investing in healthy forests for today and for future generations. The NFF makes reaching this goal simple- for every dollar they receive, they will plant a new tree. The National Forest Foundation is leading natural climate solutions to climate change through large-scale reforestation on public lands. Tree planting on our National Forests helps fight climate change, conserve wildlife habitat, and ensure healthy watersheds for all Americans as well as helps restore the damage caused by severe wildfires, insects and disease and other natural disasters. Together with the NFF, Kenmark will be helping to restore tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat, from the longleaf pine forests of Florida to the cedar groves of Alaska.By partnering and supporting the NFF Kenmark wants to help bring awareness to the importance of our National Forests and efforts that can be made together to help reforest these lands. It’s important to Kenmark to demonstrate our commitment to environmental sustainability and our public lands. Throughout the year they will have ways their customers can get involved and help make a difference. To celebrate Earth Day and do good for the environment, Kenmark will be donating 5% of all Paradigm sales from April 20 – April 24, 2020.

“During this time of great National duress, we are proud to partner with the National Forest Foundation. Everyone has observed the gradual clearing air as we drive less and it reinforces the reality that we can make a difference,” says CEO, Mike Cundiff, “As a lover of history I am forever thankful that we are working to preserve our National Forests and continue efforts to make them thrive. We stand with the NFF.”

“Sustainability is one our main goals as a company moving forward and we are continually trying to research and do better for the environment across all facets of our business as we move into the future,” says Marketing Director, Marissa Cundiff, “We feel this is extremely important for ourselves and future generations to commit to always doing the best we can to continue to reduce our carbon footprint. The forests are beautiful, magnificent places and I’m both excited and proud our company has chosen to partner with the NFF to help restore them. We hope to help plant as many new trees as possible during our partnership!”
