CLEP and DSST exams are a versatile way for homeschool students to earn college credit before they graduate. By passing one of these exams, students can earn college credit at over 1,500 colleges and universities across the country. Test takers can earn credit in a wide array of subjects ranging from calculus to business. Each CLEP and DSST exam costs only $85 dollars to take, making them an extremely cost-effective way to integrate college credit into your student’s studies.
Study.com offers preparation materials for 31 CLEP exams and 37 DSST exams, all of which are included in your homeschool membership. Once your student has mastered the material in our CLEP & DSST study guides, they will be ready to schedule and take their exam at a designated testing center. While CLEP and DSST exams are accepted at thousands of schools across the country, they are not universally accepted. Before taking a CLEP or DSST exam, it is important to first check with your student’s desired college or university to ensure that they accept credit from these exams.
