Art Class: Glue Book

The Mommies Reviews

I shared with you Nancy Moore Smith will be teaching Charlie Genealogy and now I would like to let you know she is also going to teach Charlie a Art class.

Glue Book
A gluebook is simply a notebook/journal of any sort that you glue magazine and junk mail clippings in. Many people call them their “inspiration” book

Charlie’s Glue Book will be of places we visit this year. Although, I am sure when he gets started it will lead to other Glue Books including a Wrestling one maybe.

Here is the list of supplies Charlie will need for the start of his art project. We will work on this from now until we finish it – till December 31st. (he will probably need at least 5 – 6 composition books in all). No need to buy them all at one time though!

1 composition book

colored pencils, markers, pen/pencil

scissors

glue stick or another form of glue

you will need extra copies of brochures, pamphlets or pictures from the places you have visited on your blog adventures since January 1st. Start collecting these going forward so we can have them at our disposal.

1 or 2 old magazines (DON’T GO BUY THESE)

scissors – but our hands work just as good

Let me know when these things are in place and we’ll move on!!!

Charlie and I have all of the supplies and I’m Praying we can begin this project next week.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
