Charlie is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever know in my life. It’s hard to get Charlie to try new foods. Charlie saw a commercial for Popeye on TV showcasing there Chicken Sandwich. Charlie asked to go there for dinner David and I almost fell in the floor.
Last week my sister and I went to the Mall to walk. Charlie was with us and we decided to have lunch. Charlie said he would like to go to Popeye for a Chicken Sandwich.
I asked my sister and she said that would be fine because she hadn’t been in awhile and Popeye was our moms favorite restaurant to get Chicken from. I was a little worried as I can’t eat Spicy Foods.
I knew if I was careful with what I ordered and how much I ate that the food Popeye prepared wouldn’t bother me. For Charlie he chose the Classic Chicken Sandwich combo with Fries and a Drink.
David had had the Spicy Sandwich when we went and both Charlie and David liked it a lot. But Charlie didn’t want anything Spicy this time which surprised me.
Charlie let Debbie taste his sandwich and she said he liked Popeye Chicken Sandwich better than other Chicken Sandwiches she had ordered in the past. Charlie usually doesn’t eat Fries but Debbie and Charlie ate half the order and they both enjoyed the Spices on the Fries.
Through Popeye app I ordered 2 can dine for $9.99 which was 2 sides, 2 biscuits and 5 pieces of Chicken. The Chicken isMixed pieces and you can’t ask for substitutions. (2 Legs, 2 Thighs, and a Wing).
For our sides we chose Mac and Cheese which was nice and creamy and enough for three of us to share. I almost piked out Corn on the Cob because last time I chose Mashed Potatoes and they was to hot for me.
I asked for Green Beans because I didn’t think they would be Spicy but they was and I may not order them again because even though I liked the flavor of the Green Beans I had to worry about if they would bother me or not.
Debbie and I only ate one piece of Chicken apiece turning our 2 can dine into 3 or 4 people can dine for $9.99 saving us even more money. If your planing on checking our Popeye make sure you download there app before going to save money on your dinner.
